This is the official website for author Jeff Clough (that would be me). Here, you’ll find a horror story told in serial form, a great many book reviews and the ramblings of a not-completely-off-his-rocker writer.
About the Serial
Maynedon is an ongoing story, a dark serial with elements of horror and fantasy. It is intended for mature audiences. If you find certain words and situations offensive, or otherwise shouldn’t be reading stories containing “mature” subject matter, I’d advise you to find something else to do. New episodes of the serial are published every Monday before noon, Eastern Standard Time, though from time to time the story will go on hiatus.
If you are used to stories with a clear beginning, middle and end, you may find yourself on unstable ground as you read the serial. There are many stories to be found in Maynedon. Some are large, some are small. Some are resolved within the confines of a single episode, others might thread through more than a dozen episodes before resolution. There is a lengthy tale hidden behind everything, binding the serial together, but expect the people, places and events detailed in the serial to change as time goes by.
Also, please do not expect every story or plot within Maynedon to have a neat and tidy resolution, or that the answer to every question will be provided (or that the answer will be obvious when it is).
About Everything Else
I also write about my daily life, post book reviews (particularly reviews of independent or self-published novels), and post links to interesting things I found on the internet. Other than that, I wouldn’t count on a consistent theme outside of the episodes, beyond “I will do my best to be entertaining.”
